Q. How old are the puppies when they are released to their new owners?

A. We keep the puppies until the age of 8 weeks at which time we allow them to be taken to their new homes.

Q. Are Whippets compatible with other animals as pets?

A. The Whippet instinct will be to chase smaller animals and hence, new owners should be careful is mixing smaller animals with your new Whippet. In general, Whippets are compatible with cats but both animals should have a safety area to retreat to if one of them does not feel like playing.

Q. Are Whippets compatible with children?

A. Whippets are friendly with strangers but are intelligent and inquisitive dogs. With proper training and a little supervision there is no reason why your Whippet and children can not be great playmates.
